Whether you like your mashed potatoes smooth as silk or lumpy just like grandma makes them, we can all agree that Thanksgiving is better with wine company. Every year at BSL, the whole school gets together to share a delicious feast, family style. As well as turkey and all the beloved staples, students bring in a smorgasbord of traditional favorites from their respective countries. Black Forest cake, homemade lasagna, and tortilla de patatas sit side by side in true Thanksgiving spirit, one of togetherness and acceptance. Moreover, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect upon and give thanks for all that we have in life.This year we decided to ask our students and staff  what they are most thankful for. Here’s what they had to say:
