It’s no secret that Brooklyn is an excellent destination for live music. In fact, my downstairs neighbor just picked up a steel drum, so I’m fortunate enough to hear live music everyday! But seriously, if you want to give your ears something to thank you for, head to these great venues in Brooklyn.

Stepping into Sunny’s is like walking into a fisherman’s dream. The walls are adorned with all sorts of nautical wonders and memories of days past. Musicians have long flocked to this bar to pick their guitars. You can expect to see local talent and if you’re lucky you might just catch a legend swimming through this long standing waterfront saloon. It’s worth the trek!

DJs from near and far keep the the bodies moving at this tropical inspired club in Bushwick. If you’re looking to blow off some steam and get a lil sweaty, this is the place for you. Drinks are on the cheap side and you need not worry about a dress code or expensive bottle service at this club. Better yet, you can grab some late night tacos across the street.
