Rich Ambler
DIRECTOR
Rich runs English Outdoors and can help you with any issues you may have with your schedules, your housing or any other questions about life in New York. Rich speaks English and Portuguese. He is from Cambridge, England.
Mariane Pena
EO COORDINATOR
Mariane is from Brazil and has lived in NYC since 2019. She graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa as a Portuguese and English Teacher and has been teaching children, teenagers, and adults since 2015. She loves teaching and helping students improve their language skills. What she enjoys most about New York is the diversity and how easy it is to meet people from different places.
Stéphanie Bon
SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
Steph is primarily based in France, but you will also see her in New York from time to time. She travels around the world to increase awareness of English Outdoors to develop our agent network, to expand our program portfolio and to manage the program’s communications. She also helps out behind the scenes with student recruitment and program administration. She speaks French, Portuguese and English. She is from Bordeaux, France.
Abby Davis
ACADEMIC MANAGER
Abby is the Academic Manager at English Outdoors and oversees our teachers and English lessons. She also coordinates all placement tests to ensure all students are placed in the right course level before they arrive to NYC. She is originally from Houston, Texas and currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina. She speaks English and Spanish.
