7 Ways to Stay (virtually) Social While Stuck at Home
Welp we've all been cooped up in our apartments for a little too long and things are starting to get strange. People are drinking wine with breakfast (guilty), working in their underwear, binge watching Netflix shows like never before ( btw... Tiger King is a godsend), and waking up with #zoomhangovers. I myself have really dove deep into making random objects out of clay and placing them all around my apartment. Well any-who, if you're looking for some ways to keep yourself from going insane, I've put together a list of some of the best things to do online to stay virtually social as we wait out Quarantine. Let's check them out:
1. Join a Free Online Event
You may not be able to stand elbow to elbow in your favorite music venue or spend a lazy afternoon at the movies but that doesn't mean you have to give up on events all together. You just have to go online! Gyms are offering live work-out classes, art-studios are giving lessons and language schools have moved to online teaching.
If you are looking for a more curated selection of online events , make your way to Eventbrite. From meditation sessions to virtual open-mic nights (only for the bold)… there is something for everyone. And most of them are free! Stay social and overcome those quarantine blues. :)
2. Game on!
If you've grown tired of playing Cards Against Humanity with your confused cat, fear not, you can play plenty of your favorite games online. So, to help you become the hero of your next Zoom happy hour, you can play Catan online for free and pretty much any other card game, including Cards Against Humanity. Just beware of cheaters!

If you don’t feel like drinking, you can also put some sparkling water with lemon in a glass and call it a day. But remember, just because you are drinking virtually, that doesn't mean you won't get a hangover.
