It’s no secret that New York is one of the world’s best destinations to learn English. I mean who wouldn’t want to study in such an epic city? There is a seemingly endless list of things to do and plenty of opportunities to improve your English. So to fill you in on all the advantages I’ve created a list of the top 5 reasons why to learn English in New York. Let’s take a look:
1. Diversity
New York is home to over 8 million people! This mix of people contributes to the city’s unique cosmopolitan identity. Across all five boroughs ( Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, & Staten Island) you’ll come across a diverse melting pot of cultures that can be experienced through the myriad of museums, restaurants, activities, shops, and more. What better way to study English than to meet and talk with all the people that make New York such a special place.
2. Culture, Fashion, Arts
In a city like New York, there are so many wonderful ways to truly immerse yourself in the culture. From world class museums (MoMa, MET, Whitney, Guggenheim) to DIY performance spaces (House of Yes, The Deep End, Market Hotel, Sofar Sounds) and everything in between, there is something to do every day of the week.
